What product brands do you use or recommend?
Although we can install any low-voltage product from any manufacturer, we elect to design and install the fixtures and transformers manufactured by the leading firms in the industry: CAST-Lighting and Unique Lighting Systems. We also specify and install the quality products produced by LaSorgente Glass Studio and Integral Lighting. To ensure long-term reliability, InVista CHOOSES to use the best low voltage lighting products on the market today. These fixtures are cast from Solid Bronze, Brass, and Copper and are second to none in terms of design, quality, and durability! Take a closer look at our products, and discover for yourself.

Do you have a way of previewing what my property will look like with a new lighting system?
Yes, upon completing our initial Lighting Design Consultation, some of our prospective clients wish to further understand and see some of the lighting techniques discussed during the property walk-through. In those cases, it is not uncommon for us to install our lighting demo kit. This temporary "scaled-down" installation can easily demonstrate some of lighting techniques discussed during our visit. The demo kit installs fairly quickly, and is taken down several days later when we return with our completed proposal.

What are the advantages of choosing low-voltage lighting over traditional line voltage alternatives?
The following are a few examples of the benefits of low-voltage lighting:

  • Low voltage landscape lighting is safer to operate than traditional 120-volt light.
  • Low voltage (12-volt) operating expenses are approximately 1/3 less than 120-volt lamps.
  • 12-volt lamps give beam control rather than omni-direction flare of 120-volt lamps.
  • 12-volt lamps are capable of compact design therefore yield more compact fixtures.
  • 12-volt lamps produce a better quality of light than 120-volt.

Will the installation of a lighting system tear up my property?
A reputable lighting design and installation firm can install a lighting system into your existing landscape with little or no disruption to the property. However, it is always best to install the lighting system during the building stages of a home or landscape.
